Jess Ellis & Anil Thomas - Co-Founders
Jess and Anil helped co-found giveRECOVERY and serve as leaders in all decisions involving both the organization and guests staying at the house. The husband and wife team live in Evanston, IL and are active at A Restoration Church in Deerfield, IL.
Brian Ellis - Co-Founder
Brian (Jess’ sister) serves as the house manager at the giveRECOVERY house. He is involved in all of the day to day matters related to managing the house and ensuring the safety of our guests. Brian’s own life was transformed after attending a treatment program at Harbor Hall in Petoskey and then spending nearly a year living in a faith based sober home. Brian has been sober since October 11, 2021. He attends and serves at the Petoskey Church of Christ and is a frequent speaker in the recovery community about his own journey.
Carissa Reynolds - Healthcare Consultant
Carissa brings valuable resource to giveRECOVERY and our guests as a registered nurse. Carissa and her husband along with her two children live in Coloma, MI. The entire family attends and serves at the Coloma United Methodist Church.
Tyler Lawie - Recovery Specialist
Tyler is another example of the transformation that can take place via a commitment to sobriety. After completing his recovery treatment at Harbor Hall, Tyler also transitioned to a sober living facility which allowed him to continue on his path to recovery and grow in his faith. Tyler has been sober since October 11, 2019 and has been an outspoken witness to the power of faith based recovery. Tyler attends and serves at the Petoskey Church of Christ.
Ashleigh Cervantes - Certified Recovery Coach
Ashleigh is another valuable resource for our guests at giveRECOVERY as a certified recovery coach. She has worked at Bear River Health and continues to share the power that a faith based recovery program can have as she has been sober since October 11, 2018. Ashleigh attends and serves at Petoskey Church of Christ.
